Doogee is launching its latest S89 series. Shifting from conventional smartphone designs, Doogee plans to feature some unique design elements in the S89 rugged phone series and the highlight feature is going to be the RGB lights incorporated on the rear side. These light effects will make heads turn when you carry your smartphone.
Right now the market is inspired by the Nothing Phone with its design element and unique lighting. Nothing phone calls its lighting effect as “Glyph”. But Doogee has come up with the RGB lighting effect called “Breathing Light”. Doogee’s breathing light has more of an RGB light effect as compared to the Nothing phone. Users can customize what colors they prefer and assign them to different functions. Doogee also claims users will be able to control other aspects such as light pattern and light speed and select a series of colors to glow in the desired sequence.
The S89 series is founded upon the legacy of its predecessor the bestselling S88 series. S88 was known for its massive 10000mAh battery and RGB lights. With the S89 smartphones, Doogee has managed to fit a massive 12000mAh battery into a 19.4mm thick case while keeping its weight just 400gms. This means you get a massive battery in an ergonomically designed phone with a comfortable weight and grip.
The S89 series has two variants viz. the S89 and S98 Pro. Doogee S89 Pro will come with a 65W fast charger making it the first rugged phone with a 65W charger. With the 65W charger, you can charge your 12000mAh battery from 0 to 100% within 2 hours. However, the S89 will come with a 33W charger.
As far as cameras are concerned the S89 series boasts a triple rear camera setup with advanced Sony sensors for both the S89 and S89 Pro. With S89 Pro you get 64MP + 20MP + 8MP sensors while the S89 will come with 48MP + 20MP + 8MP setup. Both phones in this series come with main cameras that are specially tuned to give the best shots and 20MP night vision sensors and 8MP ultra-wide angle sensors that help you to get the perfect shot in any and every surrounding and lighting.
The S89 series is powered by MediaTek Helio P90 chipset with the S89 Pro featuring a base memory configuration of 8GB + 256GB and the S89 with an 8GB + 128GB base memory setup. Doogee phones are known for their ruggedness and the S89 series upholds this legacy. Both phones in this series come with IP68 and IP69K ratings and the latest MIL-STD-810H certifications making them water, dust, and shockproof and perfect for extreme and harsh environments. Doogee S89 series will be launched on August 22, 2022. The smartphones will debut on AliExpress and DoogeeMall shopping platforms. As a part of its global launch, Doogee is giving huge discounts on the S89 series. From August 22 and August 26, the S89 series will see heavy discounts on AliExpress, with the S89 Pro’s original price of $459.98 slashed to $229.99 and the S89 which originally retails for $399.98 will be available at a whopping 50% discount of $199.99 only.
