Vivo‘s rapidly growing sub-brand iQOO has launched multiple devices in its Z6 series this year. Now, a new report from 91mobiles (citing industry sources) has revealed the existence of another smartphone in the series called the iQOO Z6 Lite.

According to the report, the Z6 Lite will be very similar to the Vivo T1x which was launched last month in India. This implies that the device will likely offer 4G connectivity only. Additionally, the device is tipped to launch in the second week of September.

As for the pricing, the report mentions that the iQOO Z6 Lite could cost Rs 500 to Rs 700 lesser than the Vivo T1x. For those unaware, the Vivo T1x launched with a starting price tag of Rs 11,999 and went as high as Rs 14,999. As for the specification, since the device is most likely a Vivo T1x rebrand, we can look at the specs of the T1x to get an idea of what to expect.

Vivo T1x specifications and features

The device has a teardrop notch and a 6.58-inch IPS LCD display. It has a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels and a refresh rate of 90Hz. The screen-to-body ratio of the display is 90.6 percent.

Under the hood, the device has a Snapdragon 680 chipset paired with 4 GB / 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB / 128 GB of internal storage. It features Android 12-based FunTouchOS 12 and offers a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and face unlock for security. The smartphone packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.

For optics, the device has a 50-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, it has an 8-megapixel selfie snapper.
