Vivo is all set to launch its latest V-series higher mid-range smartphone in the Indian market, dubbed Vivo V25 Pro. It will be announced today in India, while the phone’s sale is set to begin on 25th August.

The launch event for the Vivo V25 Pro smartphone in the Indian market will take place at 12:00 PM local time. At the event, along with the Pro model, the company will also launch the standard Vivo V25 in India.

Vivo has already confirmed that the V25 Pro will come with a revamped curved screen design. It will feature a 3D curved AMOLED display with a center-aligned punch hole cutout, offering a Full HD+ screen resolution and a 120Hz high refresh rate.

Under the hood, the device will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC, which is also found on other smartphones like OnePlus Nord 2T and the OPPO Reno 8. It will come packed with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.

In the camera department, the smartphone will feature a triple-camera setup on the back consisting of a 64-megapixel primary camera sensor with OIS, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor. On the front side, the phone is expected to feature a 32-megapixel snapper for taking selfies and video calling.

The Vivo V25 series smartphones will run the Android 12 operating system out-of-the-box with the company’s own FunTouch OS 12.1 custom user interface on top. The Pro model will be powered by a 4,830mAh battery and will come with support for 66W fast charging.
