Motorola’s Edge series is quite popular among consumers. The company recently unveiled the latest Moto Edge (2022), which bagged the title of being the first smartphone powered by the Dimensity 1050 SoC. Now, it seems Motorola is gearing up to bring new Edge series smartphones into the wild on September 8.
Motorola recently posted a short video teaser on its official Twitter handle which hints at the launch of three new Edge series smartphones. The company posted the teaser with the caption “Find yourself closer to the edge…September 8”. This confirms that new Motorola phones are definitely arriving on September 8. However, the teaser didn’t give us the names or any other details of the upcoming smartphones.

Motorola may bring the newly launched Moto X30 Pro and Moto S30 Pro to the global market as rebranded Edge series smartphones. In fact, there are already rumors that S30 Pro will debut in the global market as Moto Edge 30 fusion.
To recall, Moto X30 Pro has a 6.73-inch pOLED curved display and offers a 144Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it is equipped with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. Its main highlight is the camera setup. The device features a Samsung ISOCELL HP1 200-megapixel camera, which is accompanied by a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 12-megapixel telephoto shooter.

Moto S30 Pro, on the other hand, comes with a 6.55-inch centered punch-hole 10-bit curved OLED display with FHD+ resolution and up to 144Hz refresh rate. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus chipset paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. It has a triple camera system on the rear consisting of a 50MP primary sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP depth sensor.
