Apple has finally confirmed that its next launch event will be held on Wednesday, September 7 inside the company’s Apple Park campus. The event will be live streamed on the company’s website and YouTube at 10:00 AM PT.

Apple iPhone 14 launch event

The event will obviously center around the iPhone 14 series, which will consist of four models. These are the vanilla iPhone 14, the iPhone 14 Max, the iPhone 14 Pro, and the iPhone 14 Pro Max. The Max model will replace the iPhone mini from the lineup and will essentially be similar to the vanilla iPhone 14, but with a large 6.7-inch display.

The Pro models will get an update to the camera notch, which will now feature a punch hole and a pill-shaped cutout instead of the large notch currently featured in the iPhone 13 models. The 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max models are also expected to come with an always-on display feature, new A16 Bionic chipsets, and a 48-megapixel primary camera. The vanilla and Max models on the other hand are expected to retain the A14 Bionic chipsets. All models will get a new autofocus front camera.

Other than the smartphones, Apple is also expected to debut new smartwatches on September 7. So far, rumors suggest that three new Apple Watch models are in development: the Series 8 model, the upgraded SE model, and the all-new Pro model, which is anticipated to have a larger body, an updated look, and a more robust design.

There are also rumors the upgraded iPad Pro model is in the works, but this device will likely be launched in October alongside the new Macs.
