Samsung is gearing up to unveil a new rugged tablet in the market called the Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro. The tablet was recently spotted on Google Play Console and Bluetooth SIG database revealing some key specifications.

Now, the Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro 5G has appeared on the GCF certification site hinting at an imminent global launch. The listing confirms that the SM-T636B model number, which corresponds to the Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro has been certified. The listing does not reveal any further details or specifications. So let’s take a look at what’s known so far about the upcoming rugged tablet.

The earlier Google Play Console listing has revealed that the Tab Active 4 Pro will come with a display that offers a Full HD resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels.

Under the hood, it will come with the Snapdragon 778G chipset that has an octa-core CPU with four cores clocked at 2.4GHz and the remaining four clocked at 1.8GHz. The Adreno 642L GPU will be paired with this SoC. As for RAM, the tablet will be available with at least 4GB of RAM.

The device moniker is also confirmed as “Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro 5G,” which indicates that we will get SIM support with the tablet. It could also come in a WIFI-only variant as well. Lastly, the device will offer Bluetooth 5.2 and run an Android 12L-based operating system out of the box.
