Since last year, Huawei has been licensing its consumer electronics products to a telecom equipment manufacturer called TD Tech in China. This firm has so far released multiple Huawei smartphones under its own brand. Unlike Huawei, the same phones sold by TD Tech come with 5G connectivity.

Today, the said company took to Weibo to announce yet another handset. This device is officially called TD Tech P50. As the name suggests, it is nothing but a rebranded Huawei P50.

The differences between the original and the new model are that the latter carries support for 5G connectivity and ships with different software. Since TD Tech is more of an enterprise-facing company, it also provides customization for businesses.

Apart from the aforementioned dissimilarities, the TD Tech P50 is essentially a Huawei P50. Therefore, it arrives with a 6.5-inch 10-bit 90Hz OLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, 4,100mAh battery, and 66W fast wired charging support.

The smartphone also houses a triple camera system on its rear. The setup consists of a 50MP primary sensor, 13MP ultra-wide unit, and 12MP 5x telephoto shooter. On the front, it sports a 13MP snapper for selfies and video calls.

TD Tech is yet to reveal the pricing and availability of this handset. The phone will be probably sold in limited quantities, like the previous models from the company.
