Redmi will soon be launching a new smartphone in the Indian market called the Redmi 11 Prime 5G. This device is said to be a rebranded Redmi Note 11E, which launched in China earlier this year.

Previous reports have indicated that the Redmi 11 Prime 5G could get an Indian launch in the first few days of September. Now, a new report citing tipster Yogesh Brar says that the device will likely debut within the next two weeks. This means we can expect the launch to take place before September 17th.

We can expect the device to be priced under Rs. 16000 (roughly $200) in India. It will likely come in multiple storage variants.

Redmi 11 Prime 5G Specifications (Expected)

The Redmi 11 Prime 5G is expected to come with a Full HD+ (1080 x 2048 pixels) IPS LCD measuring 6.58 inches. It will have a 90Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, the device will likely feature a Dimensity 700 chipset complemented with up to 6GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage.

For optics, the device will feature a 50-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an LED flash. It will have a 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front. The phone’s operating system will be Android 12 with MIUI 13 on top. A 5000mAh battery that supports 18W rapid charging will serve as its backup.
