Last week, the Vivo V25 went official in Thailand, and now the device has gone official in Malaysia as well. The company has also unveiled the V25e alongside it. Even though the V25e is positioned lower than the V25, both phones have identical designs. Here is all the information on the specifications, features, and price of the V25e.

Vivo V25e specifications and features

The Vivo V25e features a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with a teardrop notch. It has a Full HD+ resolution of 2404 x 1080 pixels, a DCI-P3 color gamut of 100 percent, a peak brightness of up to 1,300 nits, and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. The handset weighs 183 grams and has a thickness of 7.99mm.

On the front, the V25e has a 32-megapixel selfie camera. Its back panel has a 64-megapixel main camera coupled with a 2-megapixel bokeh camera and a 2-megapixel macro snapper. The main camera carries support for Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). It offers bokeh flare portrait, night mode, live photo, AR stickers, Vlog movie, dual view, and double exposure as other photography features.

The V25e is equipped with the Helio G99 chipset. The SoC is coupled with 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. It is backed by a 4,500mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging. According to Vivo, it takes 38 minutes for the phone to gain 58 percent battery juice. The device boots to the Android 12 OS, which is overlaid with FunTouch OS 12.

Like the V25 and V25 Pro, the V25e also comes with a color-changing glass back. Its other features include stereo speakers, a microSD card slot, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, and a USB-C port. It lacks a 3.5mm audio jack.

In Malaysia, the Vivo V25e is priced at MYR 1,399 (~$312). It comes in Diamond Black and Sunrise Gold (supports color changing).
