Vivo is reportedly working on its next-gen foldable smartphone, dubbed X Fold S. The foldable has been the subject of various leaks recently. And today, it has been spotted on China’s 3C certification platform, hinting at an imminent launch. The listing reveals the device will support 80W fast charging. It is also rumored to be equipped with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Soc.

Tipster Digital Chat Station has spotted the Vivo X Fold S on China’s 3C certification site with model number V2229A. The listing confirms the device will be with an 80W dual C-port GaN flash charging head.

The tipster also sheds some light on the specifications of the device. He claims the Vivo X Fold S will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset. It will have a large screen offering 2K resolution and 120hz refresh rate.

Further, the foldable is said to be fueled by a 4700mAh battery and support 80W wired and 50W wireless charging. The tipster previously claimed that the X Fold S will have a quad camera setup that consists of a 50-megapixel primary, 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle, 12-megapixel telephoto, and 8-megapixel periscopic sensors. While on the front, it will house a 16-megapixel selfie shooter. The device is also said to have a new bright red plain leather body.

The Vivo X Fold S will launch as the successor to the Vivo X Fold that was launched in April last year. The exact launch date of the forthcoming foldable is yet to be revealed, however, the 3C certification hints that the device may arrive soon.
