The ASUS Zenbook 17 Fold OLED was teased at the CES 2022 tech exhibition at the beginning of this year. Now, the company has officially announced the flagship notebook at the IFA 2022 event. The major attraction of the device is that it features a huge foldable screen, which allows users to use it as a huge tablet, a notebook, or a desktop PC.
ASUS Zenbook 17 Fold OLED specifications and features
The Zenbook 17 Fold OLED features a 17.3-inch foldable OLED display that offers a resolution of 2560 x 1920 pixels, an aspect ratio of 4:3, and a peak brightness of 500 nits. When the screen is unfolded, it can stand by means of the kickstand available on its back. This makes it possible to use it as a monitor. When paired with a Bluetooth keyboard, it can function as a desktop PC.
As shown in the official images, the screen can be folded in different ways. When used as a regular laptop with a physical keyboard, it offers a 12.5-inch screen with a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The notebook runs on the Windows 11 OS.
The Zenbook 17 Fold OLED is powered by the 12th generation Intel i7-1250U processor, Iris Xe graphics, 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 1 TB of M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD storage. The device packs a 4-cell battery, which can last for up to 9 ½ hours. The Zenbook 17 Fold OLED supports 65W charging. Lastly, it weighs 1.5kg.

The Zenbook 17 Fold OLED is priced at $3,499 and comes in Tech Black color only. It will be available for purchase in Q4 this year.
