Xiaomi is working on its next flagship smartphone, the Xiaomi 13 lineup. Reports have claimed that the lineup may debut as early as November of this year. The rumor mill has been gradually leaking information about the Xiaomi 13 series. Today, tipster Digital Chat Station shared key information on the camera configuration of the series.

In December 2021, Xiaomi unveiled the Xiaomi 12 and the Xiaomi 12 Pro powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. The company also unveiled the Xiaomi 12X featuring the Snapdragon 870. The Xiaomi 12 has a 50-megapixel main camera, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 5-megapixel telephoto macro camera. On the other hand, the Xiaomi 12 Pro is equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide snapper, and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera.

According to Digital Chat Station, the Xiaomi 13 series will be equipped with multiple 50-megapixel cameras. There is a model featuring a 50-megapixel + 50-megapixel dual-camera setup and there’s another model with a 50-megapixel + 50-megapixel + 50-megapixel triple camera unit. These devices may arrive in the Chinese market with the Xiaomi 13 and the Xiaomi 13 Pro monikers.

The Pro model will likely be equipped with upgraded main and telephoto cameras. The tipster also spoke about another Xiaomi 13 series phone, which appears to be the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. He claimed that the device would be equipped with upgraded camera modules and sensors.

Recent reports have revealed that the Xiaomi 13 will have a 6.36-inch 120Hz AMOLED display with curved edges, whereas the Xiaomi 13 Pro will be equipped with a 6.7-inch Samsung E6 AMOLED display with curved edges. It will support a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Both devices are likely to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. The series may house a single-cell battery that supports 100W charging and 50W wireless charging. It is not clear whether the series includes a successor model for the Xiaomi 12X.
