Honor has been actively launching new devices in its home market China as the company aims to take the lead position in the country’s smartphone market. In line with that, the brand is now all set to launch the next-generation X-series smartphones.
The company has today confirmed through a teaser poster that the Honor X40 series smartphones will be officially launched in China on 15th September.
The teaser postered shared by the company has a slogan that reads “New Leap Level Benchmark,” indicating powerful specifications for the upcoming devices. So far, the company has not revealed any of the phone’s specifications.
Honor CMO Jiang Hairong has revealed that there are more than 100 million users of the company’s X-series smartphones globally. He also added that the company would soon launch a nine-year milestone smartphone for the Honor X series.
Based on the previous reports, the Honor X40 series smartphones will come with an OLED panel, likely to be manufactured by BOE. The lineup will reportedly have Honor X40 Max, which is expected to come with 40W fast charging support.
As of now, not much is known about the specifications and features of the upcoming smartphones but we expect the company to soon start sharing teasers for the X40 series phones, revealing what we should expect from the smartphones.
