iQOO Z6 Lite 5G is confirmed to launch in India on September 12 as the latest entrant to the company’s Z6 series. The company has already showcased the design of the phone and has also confirmed that it will pack a 120Hz display with a notch for the selfie camera. Now, a popular tipster has revealed the iQOO Z6 Lite 5G will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chipset paired with 6GB+2GB RAM. Let’s look at the details.

Tipster Abhishek Yadav has shared a picture of what looks like the “About Phone” section of the iQOO Z6 Lite 5G. The picture suggests the device will draw power from Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chipset, which was announced earlier today.

Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 is an entry-level processor that is built on the older 6nm node. It caps at 2.0GHz and features 8 cores. Qualcomm has not revealed many details about the processor yet, however, it claimed the SoC will offer a 15% faster CPU and 10% more powerful GPU. We are not sure which processor is this comparison based on, it could be the Snapdragon 480.

Further, Z6 Lite 5G’s SoC is tipped to be paired with 6GB+2GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The device may come with a MicroSD slot to expand the storage. The handset is also said to run Android 12 OS with FuntouchOS 12 on top.

Moreover, the company has confirmed the Z6 Lite 5G will feature a 120Hz display with a waterdrop notch housing the selfie camera. The handset will feature a dual rear camera setup that may include a 50-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel depth or macro sensor.
