The Philips Hue Lightguide bulbs and the SmartThings music sync feature are part of the new innovations unveiled by the Signify brand. The Lightguide bulbs come with an unusual design and provide smart lighting across a wide range of colors. The Philips Hue Lightguide bulbs have an inner tube that provides light in any color and comes in three shapes – ellipse, globe, and triangular. The bulbs are designed to shine brighter with their reflective exteriors. The Philips Hue app now has the Mimic presence automation feature. It is designed to protect your house from intruders by regulating the switch-off and switch-on of your lighting system when you’re away. It does the operation in such a manner that suggests the house is occupied. On the other hand, the Philips Hue + SmartThings music sync tool enables you to match your music with your lighting. The Philips Hue Lightbulbs and the SmartThings music sync feature will launch in North America and Europe in Q4 2022. The starting price for the bulbs is $74.99 while the cord and holder cost $49.99. There are no global availability details outside Europe and North America at this time.
