Alongside Redmi 11 Prime and Redmi 11 Prime 5G, Xiaomi also launched the Redmi A1 in India. It is the first phone in the company’s new Redmi A series of entry-level smartphones. It was announced as part of the firm’s Special Diwali With Mi Launches. Let’s check out what it has to offer.

Redmi A1

Redmi A1 Specifications

The Redmi A1 is built around a 6.52-inch display (LCD) with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels (HD+) and a dewdrop notch. It comes powered by a MediaTek Helio A22 chipset paired with LPDDR4x RAM and eMMC 5.1 storage.

Due to its low-level hardware, the handset boots Android 12 Go Edition without MIUI skin. As a result, it should offer a better experience than previous entry-level smartphones from Xiaomi.

Further, it features a dual-camera system on the rear comprising an 8MP primary sensor and a 2MP sensor. On the front, it has a 5MP shooter for selfies and video calls.
