Realme celebrated its fourth anniversary this year. It started out in 2018 as a new brand born out of OPPO, and within four years it had over 140 million users across the world. At present, it is the 6th biggest smartphone company in the world. In an interview with GSMArena, Realme VP and Head of Realme International, Madhav Sheth, shared some details on the future plans of the company.

The Realme GT 2 Master Edition (review) debuted in China as the company’s first Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 powered smartphone. In the interview, Sheth confirmed that Realme will be releasing a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 powered flagship phone in international markets soon, which seems to be the global version of the GT 2 Master Edition, but he did not share further details on it. The SD8+G1 Realme phone will offer a better design as compared to other phones with the same chip.

In 2023, Realme’s GT-series flagship will offer topnotch experiences in departments like design, display, screen experience, battery optimization, and charging experience. For the number series, the company will launch only one generation per year. However, there will be smaller upgrades in six months.

Sheth wants consumers in Europe to experience the quality of Realme’s products. Apart from phones, the company also aims to launch more audio products, wearables, notebooks, and TVs. It appears that the company will focus more on its offline presence by building its own stores in the near future in Europe. At the same time, the company will extend its partnership with carriers.
