The Xiaomi CIVI series was introduced last year in China. The female-focused lineup includes the CIVI and CIVI 1S smartphones. Today, the Chinese manufacturer confirmed the arrival of the Xiaomi CIVI 2. It will be made official at 2 pm (local time) on Sept. 27 in China.

Here’s a teaser image released by the company. As can be seen, the CIVI 2 will be sporting an attractive rear design. It appears that the company will soon release some more teasers to reveal its entire design as well as its key specifications.

According to reports, the Xiaomi CIVI 2 will have a 6.56-inch OLED display, which will support an FHD+ resolution, a refresh rate of 120Hz, and an in-screen fingerprint reader. In terms of display design, it will have a curved edge display with a centrally positioned punch-hole.

The CIVI 2 will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset. To recall, the original CIVI featured the Snapdragon 778G chipset, whereas the CIVI 1S came equipped with the Snapdragon 778G Plus chipset. The SD7G1 SoC pm the CIVI 2 will come with up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It will be preloaded with the Android 12 OS, which will be overlaid with the MIUI 13.

A 32-megapixel camera will be available on CIVI 2’s front. A 50-megapixel main camera with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel camera will be available on the phone’s rear panel. A 4,500mAh battery with 67W charging capabilities will fuel the device. At present, there is no information available on the cost of the CIVI 2.
