Xiaomi has added yet another product to its home electronics lineup. It is the MIJIA water purifier 1600G which can output up to 1600 gallons and a flow rate of 4.25L/min. The new Xiaomi water purifier uses a 100mm roll film and offers a 3:1 ratio for pure to wastewater. It features the LPD low water pressure mode to provide water in high-rise buildings with low water pressure.
The Xiaomi MIJIA Water Purifier 1600G uses a dual filtration procedure to filter the water and absorb residual chlorine and other elements. It uses PPC and RO dual filter element filtration which is effective even with sediments. The purifier is up to 99.7% effective in its operation. The gadget enters the automatic flushing mode after stopping water and this prevents secondary pollution. The RO filter element can last up to six years while the PPC filter element has a service life of two years. The MIJIA water purifier 1600G provides clean water for the whole family for several years at a minimal daily cost.
An OLED smart display adorns the water purifier and allows the user to view the TDS value at any instant. It also allows the user to know whether the filter element needs a replacement.
The original price of the Xiaomi MIJIA Water Purifier 1600G is 4,599 yuan (~$652) but it will retail at a launch price of 3,999 yuan (~$567). It is already available on preorder from JD.com and other retail platforms. There is no word yet on the global availability of the new water purifier.
