Redmi recently launched the Redmi A1 in India as an affordable entry-level smartphone. Now it seems the company is gearing up to bring another A-series handset, dubbed the Redmi A1+. The device has been spotted on various certification sites recently. And today, a report is here with its detailed renders and specifications. Let’s look at the details.

A new Appuals report has revealed the key specifications as well as renders of the alleged Redmi A1+. The handset is expected to have features and a design similar to the Redmi A1, with a few changes here and there. For instance, the Plus model will be equipped with a fingerprint sensor on the back, which was absent on the A1.Redmi A1+ Renders The renders reveal the smartphone will have a dual rear camera setup aligned in a squircle camera module. At the front, it will have a waterdrop notch display. As per the publications, the Redmi A1+ will be available in three colorways—black, light blue, and light green.

According to the report, the Redmi A1+ will flaunt a 6.52-inch HD+ scratch-resistant display that will offer a 1600 x 720 resolution, a 20:9 aspect ratio, a 120Hz touch sampling rate, and a peak brightness of up to 400 nits.

Under the hood, the handset will be powered by a MediaTek Helio A22 processor paired with 2GB LPDDR4X RAM and 32GB of internal storage. For security, it will also feature a fingerprint sensor on the back. On the software front, it will run a clean Android 12 OS.

Talking about the optics, the phone will have dual cameras on the back consisting of an 8MP main sensor. At the front, it will sport a 5-megapixel snapper for selfies and video calls. The Redmi A1+ will pack a 5000mAh battery with a 10W charger.

Furthermore, the smartphone will have a single speaker next to the USB port. For connectivity, it will carry a 3.5mm headphone jack, a Micro-USB port, Dual Nano SIM, a dedicated microSD card, VoWiFi, 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5.0.
