The Xiaomi 12T and 12T Pro smartphones have been in the headlines for quite some time now. We are patiently waiting for the brand to make an official announcement regarding the handsets. But ahead of that, a new leak has revealed the Xiaomi 12T and Xiaomi 12T Pro could launch in the first week of October.

Popular tipster Abhishek Yadav has shared an image on his official Twitter handle, which appears to be an announcement post for an upcoming launch event. It reveals Xiaomi has scheduled a launch event on October 4. It does not mention the products that are going to debut. However, Yadav claims the long-awaited Xiaomi 12T series could launch in this alleged event.

Xiaomi is yet to confirm the official launch date of the series. We can expect an official announcement in a few days. Meanwhile, let’s check the specifications of the Xiaomi 12T and 12T Pro.

Xiaomi 12T and Xiaomi 12T Pro Specifications

Reports suggest the Xiaomi 12T will be sold in two storage models— 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB. The Pro model, on the contrary, is said to be available in 8GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage options. The handsets may be offered in three colorways—Clear Blue, Cosmic Black, and Lunar Silver.

Further, Xiaomi 12T Pro is likely to debut with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and a 6.67-inch AMOLED display offering a 1,220 x 2,712 pixel resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is also said to come with a Samsung HP1 200-megapixel primary sensor, which may be paired with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel macro unit.

Whereas the Xiaomi 12T could come with a 6.7-inch OLED display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. Under the hood, it may be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC. Further, the device could feature a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 108-megapixel primary sensor.
