Samsung has partnered with Axis Bank to launch a new line of credit cards in India. Axis Bank, which is India’s third largest private sector bank, will use the Visa network and branding for this new credit card. Samsung has introduced two credit cards as part of its partnership: Visa Signature and Visa Infinite.

With these cards, users can get up to Rs 20,000 cashback annually across multiple platforms and earn Edge Reward Points on spending made outside of the Samsung Ecosystem. Let’s check out the details.

Samsung Axis Bank Visa Signature & Visa Infinite details

With the Samsung Visa Signature, cardholders can receive up to 10% cashback annually, up to Rs 10,000, and monthly, up to Rs 2,500. The Visa Infinite card, on the other hand, allows customers to receive 10% cashback up to Rs 20,000 yearly and Rs 5,000 each month. There is no minimum transaction amount required here, so even if you only spend Rs. 100, you will still receive 10% cashback. This 10% cashback is in addition to existing Samsung promotions and is available year-round on all Samsung goods and services.

Additionally, on purchases made outside of the Samsung Ecosystem, cardholders will also receive Edge Reward Points. Companies including BigBasket, Myntra, Tata 1mg, Urban Company, and Zomato have teamed up with Samsung and Axis Bank to offer rewards for spending on the respective platforms. In addition, the Samsung Axis Bank Credit Card enables free access to airport lounges, a waiver of fuel surcharges, dining offers, and access to a variety of deals from Axis Bank and Visa.

Customers will receive 10% cash back when they buy Samsung services like Service Center payments, Samsung Care+ mobile protection plans, and extended warranties, as well as products including phones, tablets, laptops, televisions, refrigerators, air conditioners, washing machines, and more. Other than that, card holders will also get no-cost EMI offers on their purchases from Samsung. The cashback will be applicable across all authorized offline channels selling Samsung products as well as online on Samsung.com, Samsung Shop App, Flipkart, and authorized Samsung Service Centers.

How to apply & fees

The annual cost of the Infinite variant is Rs 5,000 + GTS, whereas the cost of the Signature variation is Rs 500 + GST. Once they receive their card, cardholders can also take advantage of the one-time perks mentioned below.

  • Signature cardholders will get 2500 points worth Rs 500 on completing the first 3 transactions.
  • Infinite variant cardholders will get 30000 points worth Rs 6000 on completing the first 3 transactions.
