TCL has added a 98-inch model to its Q10G lineup of Mini LED TVs. The TCL Q10G Mini LED TV comes with a 4K display and a high refresh rate of 120Hz. In May this year, TCL launched the 55”, 65”, 75”, and 85” Q10G Mini LED TVs. TCL has now announced that the Q10G 98-inch model is now available on pre-order from September 27.
The TCL Q10G Mini LED 98-inch TV comes with 59 driver chips independently controlling the 672 partitions in the TV. The earlier models in the Q10G series adopted between 240 and 448 partitions. The expansive Q10G Mini LED TV has a maximum brightness of 1,600 nits and a dynamic contrast ratio of 16 million: 1. The Q10G 98” TV has a 95% DCI-P3 color gamut and is equipped with an M1 quad-core chip. It comes with 4GB of memory in addition to 128GB of flash storage.
The audio system of the Q10G 98-inch TV consists of a 2.1 channel Onkyo audio, 50W power, and 7-unit independent speakers. The TV also supports Dolby Atmos and its ports include HDMI 2.1 (x3), USB (x2), AV input (x1), network LAN (x1), RF antenna (x1), and a single digital audio input port.
The TCL Q10G 98-inch Mini LED TV is available on pre-order starting at 21,999 yuan (~$3,065) in China. It can be ordered directly from retail platforms like JD.com.
