Earlier this week, Amazon announced a number of new products for the global market. One of the new announcement includes the new Echo series of smart speakers. So let’s have a look at the three new models.
The e-commerce giant has just unveiled the new 5th generation of Echo Dot, Echo Dot Kids, and the Echo Studio smart speakers. These new models arrive with a refreshed design and improvements in its speakers. Talking about the flagship model first, the Echo Studio features Spatial audio as well as 3D audio support. It comes with digital processing methods including virtualization and upmixing, which basically made the Echo Studio into a hi-fi audio system. This model also arrives with Amazon Music Unlimited service.
Moving forward, the 5th gen Echo Dot has a design similar to its predecessor, although, it had improved hardware. It has a larger speaker that should output louder audio, along with punchier bass and clearer vocals. Notably, the company also announced the Echo Dot with Clock, which features a new dot display that is brighter and has a higher resolution. This dot display would showcase the time, song title, weather info, and more.
Lastly, there is the Echo Dot Kids that is notable for its unique and colorful designs with an Owl and Dragon variant. The Echo Dot Kids comes with Amazon Kids+, which is basically design for kids specifically. It can automatically turn on a smart fan based on the room temperature while also functioning as WiFi extenders as well. The Echo Studio has a price tag of 199.99 US Dollars, while the Echo Dot without clock costs 49.99 US Dollars. The Echo Dot with Clock and the Echo Dot Kids is offered for 59.99 US Dollars.
