Xiaomi has launched a new 1.5HP Inverter Air Conditioner with power-saving capabilities as well as heating and self-cleaning functionalities. The new MIJIA air conditioner is capable of saving up to 91kWh of electricity compared to energy-efficient, wall-mounted air conditioners.
The Xiaomi air conditioner uses a fully enclosed rotary inverter compressor with a permanent magnet rotor. This allows the rotor to run smoothly and in an efficient manner. The air conditioner delivers a circulating air volume of 660m3/h and provides rapid heating and cooling according to the specified temperature. The Xiaomi 1.5HP Inverter Air Conditioner works optimally in rooms between 16-20 square meters. Its temperature and humidity dual function offers more comfortable temperature/ humidity changes.
The Xiaomi 1.5HP Inverter Air Conditioner is equipped with an automatic cleaning mechanism using hydrophilic aluminum fins. This enables the machine to automatically clean up dirt buildup, enhanced with an antibacterial and anti-mildew filter. The MIJIA 1.5HP air conditioner can be incorporated into the MIJIA smart home ecosystem and can be controlled using the MIJIA app as well as Xiao AI voice. The MIJIA app also provides a notification to the user when the air conditioner’s filter is blocked.
The original price of the Xiaomi 1.5HP Inverter Air Conditioner is 2,599 yuan (~$365). It is however being offered at a discounted price of 2,199 yuan (~$309) in China. It is available on Chinese retail platforms like JD.com, but global availability details are lacking.
