Asus has announced a new mini-PC in the global market called the ExpertCenter PN53. Asus also launched a small form factor PC earlier this month called the ExpertCenter D7. Despite being a mini-PC, the ExpertCenter PN53 packs some serious horsepower under the hood, as it comes powered by the AMD 6000 series APUs. So, let’s take a look at what it has to offer in more detail.

ASUS ExpertCenter PN53

According to ASUS, the ExpertCenter PN53 is equipped with the AMD Rembrandt-H Ryzen 5 6600H, Ryzen 7 6800H, or Ryzen 9 6900HX processors. As a result, all ExpertCenter PN53 models include Zen 3+ CPU cores, 45 W TDPs, and RDNA 2-based iGPUs. To compare, all but the Ryzen 5 6600H have eight CPU cores and the Radeon 680M; the Ryzen 5 6600H has six cores and the Radeon 660M.

ASUS also includes two M.2 2280 slots for PCIe Gen4 NVMe drives, a 2.5-inch drive bay, and two SODIMM slots for up to 32 GB of DDR5-4800 RAM in its new mini-PC. For connectivity, the mini-PC comes with baked-in support for WiFi 6 or WiFi 6E. The PC consists of a 3.5mm audio jack, an Ethernet port(2.5 Gbit), two HDMI 2.1, five USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports, two USB 4 Type-C (DisplayPort 1.4/USB Power Delivery) ports, and one Configurable port (COM/DisplayPort 1.4/HDMI 2.1/VGA).

The company has not revealed the pricing and availability of the new machine yet. So stay tuned for more updates.
