Redmi Writing Pad has launched in India today. As the name suggests, the device is a portable digital notepad for taking notes, making doodles, and simply scribbling without having to use paper and pen. The Redmi Writing Pad carries an affordable price tag. Read on to know what it offers out of the box.

The Redmi Writing Pad comes with an LCD display measuring 8.5-inches. Xiaomi says that the screen does not emit light and prevents eye fatigue after extended use. 

The portable digital notepad is compact and lightweight measuring just 90 grams. There is a button on the bottom bezel of the device that can be used to clear the screen and start creating something new immediately. The device also features a lock switch to freeze the content from being deleted from the screen. The Redmi Writing pad comes with a stylus that offers an easy grip. It is pressure-sensitive allowing users to create different shades with every stroke. The stylus can attach magnetically to the side of the device for easy access. 

The Redmi Writing Pad is powered by an ultra-long battery replaceable battery. The power-efficient LCD screen only consumes a small amount of power when the screen is cleared. Xiaomi says that users can write up to 20,000 pages with a single battery. 

The Redmi Writing Pad costs Rs 599 and is available for purchase starting today from Mi.com.
