Intel had recently announced its latest 13th generation of desktop processors. Now, the company is releasing its latest CPUs in the Indian market. This arrives just days after the AMD Ryzen 7000 series announcement event, so let’s have a look.

Intel

As of right now, the chipmaking giant has announced six new unlocked processors in its 13th generation of desktop CPUs, which range from the Core i5-13600KF and the Core i9-13900K. Unfortunately, Team Blue has yet to officially reveal the pricing for the new chipsets at the moment, but the company will be unveiling the new price tags on the 21st of October 2022. Based on what we know so far, the 13th gen Intel processors are a part of the brand’s latest Raptor Lake family and are based on the 10nm process with a hybrid x86 architecture.

With this, Intel claims that its latest chipsets can offer up to 15 percent better single threaded performance and up to an impressive 41 percent better multi threaded performance over its previous generation of processors. Apart from the i9-13900k and Core i5-13600KF mentioned above, the brand has also announced the new i9-13900KF, Core i7-13700K, Core i7-13700KF, and Core i5-13600K as well in the market.

For those unaware, the ‘K’ in the processor’s name means that it is an unlocked chip, which can be overclocked, while the ‘F’ refers to CPUs that do not feature Intel’s UHD integrated graphics unit. Furthermore, Intel also claims that its new Core i9-13900K flagship processors is the world’s fastest desktop processor. It features 24 cores and 32 threads with a boost clock speed of up to 5.8GHz. So stick around for more, as we wil be covering the price reveal later this month.
