Vivo recently showcased the latest version of its custom Android skin— Funtouch OS 13— with a new customizable design, better privacy and personalization options, and much more. And now, Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO has announced the Funtouch OS 13 based on the Android 13 beta version rollout timeline for eligible smartphones. Here are the details.

iQOO recently revealed the Funtouch OS 13 beta release timeline for all of its eligible smartphones. The flagship iQOO 9, iQOO 9 Pro will receive the update by the end of September this year. While the iQOO 9T, iQOO 9 SE, and iQOO Neo 6 will receive the update by November.

Do note that this is the timeline for the rollout plan of the Funtouch OS 13 beta, which will be pushed to smartphones on a batch-by-batch basis. The stable version of the software will be released later on.

Talking about the update itself, Funtouch OS 13 comes with more personalization options.It has Material You’s wallpaper-based system color schemes and the ability to change app icon colors based on wallpapers. In addition, there are many privacy-focused features, such as improved app pinning, hiding photos and videos, and the ability to only grant an app access to specific photos.

The new update also adds an updated video editor, which lets you mute videos or adjust the volume for specific segments. Moreover, the company promises accessibility enhancements, specifically color correction, inversion, and removing animations.
