Redmi is reportedly working on the Redmi K60 series of smartphones. Recent reports have leaked a lot of information about the Redmi K60 handset. Now, the publication Xiaomiui has shared the key details of the Redmi K60 Gaming. The device will come out as the replacement for the Redmi K50 Gaming, which had a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.
A new Xiaomi device with model number 23011310C has appeared in the IMEI database. The publication says that the device will be called the Redmi K60 Gaming when it comes out in China. Hence, it will be a gaming-focused smartphone.

The report states that the codename of the Redmi K60 Gaming is “Socrates.” It reveals that the device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which is expected to go official in November this year. Unfortunately, the publication has not revealed any information on the specifications of the Redmi K60 Gaming. It seems that Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station has claimed that it carries support for 100W charging.
The Redmi K50 Gaming remained exclusive to the Chinese market. However, its rebranded version named the POCO F4 GT was released in the global market.
The publication claims that the Redmi K60 Gaming will remain exclusive to the Chinese market. It can be deduced from the model number of the device that it may break cover in Q1 2023. The global and Indian versions of the device haven’t shown up in the IMEI database, so it’s not clear if they exist or not. However, we believe that there could be a POCO F5 GT model for the global market, which might arrive as a rebranded version of the K60 Gaming.
