Samsung just started releasing the Android 13 stable update for the Galaxy S22 series earlier this week. On the other hand, Oppo has already delivered the same update for multiple devices since last month.
At the same time, the company is running beta programs for various handsets. In fact, four more mode phones have joined the beta initiative recently. All of them are Reno series smartphones.
Oppo has started recruiting Android 13-based ColorOS 13 beta testers for the following handsets in the mentioned regions.
- Oppo Reno 5 5G
- China
- Oppo Reno 6 5G
- China
- India
- Oppo Reno 7 5G
- India
- Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G (including League of Legends Edition)
- China
- India
Users of the phones mentioned above can head to Settings > About Device > ColorOS Logo > Icon on the top right to access the ColorOS 13 beta registration page. They can fill out the form and submit it to enroll themselves.
Selected applicants will get access to the latest version of ColorOs in beta form via an OTA software update. Unqualified applicants can try their luck in the next batch of recruitments if any.
Going by Oppo’s track record of software delivery, these smartphones will receive the stable update as early as a month from now. Further, as October is about to end, we are looking forward to Oppo sharing the ColorOS 13 update schedule for November in the coming days.
