Last week, Apple refreshed its iPad lineup with the launch of the iPad 10th Gen and the iPad Pro with the M2 chip. Starting today, the new tablets have finally gone on open sale in India.

The Apple iPad Pro (M2) comes in two sizes: 11-inch and 12.9-inch. Customers can select from five storage capacities: 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB. The iPad (10th Generation) has storage capacities of 64GB and 256GB.

The 10th generation iPad now has a bigger 10.9-inch LED display with True Tone technology, a screen resolution of 2360 x 1640 pixels, and 500 nits of brightness. The gadget is powered by Apple’s A14 Bionic chipset, which features a 16-core neural engine, a 6-core CPU, and a quad-core GPU.

There is a 12-megapixel camera sensor on the rear of the tablet as well as the front of the device for video calling. The power button now contains the Touch ID, which was previously located in the bottom bezel. The iPad Pro is available in two sizes, 11 and 12.9 inches, both of which enable ProMotion and have an adaptive refresh rate of 120 Hz. The brightest model is an 11-inch device with 600 nits, while the 12.9-inch model has 1,000 nits of brightness. Both of them are equipped with Apple Silicon’s M2 processor, which the company claims offers up to 35 percent quicker graphics performance, and an 8-core CPU that performs 15 percent faster overall. The chipset can perform 40% more operations per second than the M1 SoC, according to the manufacturer.

For the first time on an iPad, it supports the ProRes video capture function thanks to a new media engine and image signal processor. The tablet will be able to transcode ProRes film up to three times faster than in the past. For clear audio recording, it also has five studio-quality microphones. A 12-megapixel ultra-wide sensor with Center Stage capability is on the front of the camera. The device has a 12-megapixel wide camera sensor and a 10-megapixel ultra-wide camera sensor on the back. The business guarantees 10 hours of web browsing and video consumption via Wi-Fi connectivity for both versions, and it runs the most recent iPadOS 16.
