OPPO has been doing a really impressive job of updating its smartphones to Android 13. The Chinese company has even outdone Samsung, which is regarded as the undisputed king of software updates. Over the last few months, OPPO has rolled out stable and beta builds of ColorOS 13 to not only its flagships but also its mid-range and budget smartphones. In the latest development, the firm has commenced ColorOS 13 beta recruitment for a bunch of new devices, including the OPPO Reno 6 Pro, 6 Pro Plus, and Reno 5 Pro Plus.

As per recent announcements on the community forum, OPPO has kicked off the ColorOS 13 beta program for the OPPO Reno 6 Pro (In India), Reno 6 Pro, and Reno 6 Pro Plus (In China). Users of these smartphones can now get an early taste of the software and also help the company improve the overall experience.

In India, the company is looking for 5000 Reno 6 Pro users to test the beta software. Interested users can submit the application for the same by going to the “Software Update” section in the device settings. Tap on the settings icon and select “Apply for Beta Version.” Next, fill out the application, and you will receive the beta update on your device once your application is accepted.

However, note that since it’s a beta release, you may encounter some bugs. You can report the bugs through the ‘Feedback’ APP on the desktop or by opening the Google Dialer and typing *#800#.

If we talk about the update itself, the ColorOS 13 (review) introduces a bunch of new features and improvements. It brings an Aquamorphic design and includes all the new features Google added in Android 13. It also comes with several exclusives, such as a Shadow-Reflective Clock widget, an IoT device control module, media playback controls for the updated Control Center, a Meeting Assistant, and more.
