A few months ago, ZTE launched the Nubia Z40 Pro flagship smartphone, and a couple of months ago, the company launched the Nubia Z40S Pro smartphone in the Chinese market.
In the latest development, ZTE-backed Nubia is all set to launch yet another smartphone in the Z40 series, dubbed Nubia Z40S Pro Starry Night Edition. The launch of the smartphone will happen on 5th November in China.
As the name itself indicates, the upcoming smartphone’s specifications will be similar to the Z40S Pro. It is being said that the phone will come with design elements of Van Gogh’s famous Starry Night painting.
Coming to the specifications, the phone is expected to have a 6.67-inch OLED display with a Full HD+ resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, a 480Hz touch sampling rate, and a maximum brightness of 1,000 nits. Under the hood, it will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, coupled with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 internal storage.
In the camera department, the phone will come with a custom-made 35mm, 64-megapixel Sony IMX787 primary camera with an f/1.6 aperture and OIS support. It is coupled with a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens and an 8-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. On the front side, the device will feature a 16-megapixel snapper for taking selfies and video calling.
It will run the Android 12 operating system out-of-the-box with the company’s own MyOS 12 custom interface on top. The device is likely to be powered by a 5,000mAh battery and have support for 80W or 120W fast charging.
