Oppo announced its latest software skin—ColorOS 13—back in August. And ahead of most manufacturers, the company has rolled out stable and beta builds of Android 13-based software to a majority of its smartphones. Now, the firm has kickstarted the ColorOS 13 beta program for the Oppo Reno 8 Pro, Reno 5 Pro, A95, F19 Pro+, and Reno 6 Z in various regions. Here are the details.

According to recent posts on the Oppo community forums, Oppo Reno 8 Pro (China), Reno 5 Pro (Pakistan), A95 (China), F19 Pro+ (India), and Reno 6 Z (Thailand) users can now enroll in the ColorOS 13 public beta program. Users who enroll in the program will be able to test the ColorOS 13 based on Android 13 software on the aforementioned devices before the stable update rolls out.

The enrollment for the beta program commenced today (November 7), and the company will be accepting only 5000 users. To enroll, go to the About device section in the settings, tap on the ColorOS version banner at the top, select the Trial versions option on the following page, and then follow the instructions to apply.

It is worth mentioning that the beta version is not the final version and it may cause instability or incompatibility issues. The firmware may have several bugs and issues that may affect your daily usage. It is recommended not to install the beta software on your daily driver. Users can report the bugs through the “Feedback” app on the desktop or by opening the Google Dialer and typing *#800#.

To recall, the ColorOS 13 (review) update brings some new features and improvements. It introduces an Aquamorphic design and comes with all the new features Google added in Android 13.
