The Indian cricketer and former captain of the Indian cricket team, MS Dhoni, has just been appointed as the new Fire-Boltt brand ambassador. Roping in the cricket star is a part of the brand’s move of promoting its new lineup of products in the Indian market.

For those unaware, Fire-Boltt is a known brand that sells wearable and hearable products. It has been a known name in the Indian market, and bringing aboard the former captain will help it better market, advertise, and endorse its new gadgets in the region. Notably, the company also recently retook its throne in the Indian smartwatch market thanks to its significant market share of 28 percent. Now, the brand will leverage the Indian cricket star’s image to aggressively showcase the reliability of its new and upcoming products.

Furthermore, Fire-Boltt’s new brand ambassador will also help it market to regions outside of India as well. So now, we can expect Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s face to lead the marketing campaigns, advertisements, and other future promotional materials. The cricketer will also join the ranks of other famous Indian film industry personalities like Vijay Deverakonda, Vicky Kaushal, and Kiara Advani.

Fire-Boltt has seen some impressive growth this year, and it currently holds the 4th rank in the global market for smartwatches, just behind the likes of other tech giants like Apple, Samsung, and Huawei. It achieved a 13 percent year on year growth back in Q2 2022 and aims at higher growth in the future.
