Teclast has launched a new budget Android tablet. Officially called Teclast M40 Plus, the device offers good enough features for light users.
It comes with a 10.1-inch display, a MediaTek chipset, Android 12, and more. Let’s take a look at its entire specifications along with pricing and availability.
Teclast M40 Plus Specifications
The tablet sports a metal body design. It flaunts a 10.1-inch display (IPS LCD) with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and a 16:10 aspect ratio.
It is powered by a MediaTek MT8183 SoC, which also goes by Kompanio 500. The chipset is paired with 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 storage. There’s a MicroSD card slot to further expand the storage.
The device boots near-stock Android 12. It has an 8MP rear camera accompanied by an LED flashlight and a 5MP front-facing camera. There’s a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB Type-C port, and dual speakers.
The connectivity options on the tablet include dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, and GNSS. Last but not least, it is backed by a 7,000mAh battery.
Teclast M40 Plus Price and Availability
The Teclast M40 Plus is priced at ¥799 in China. Whereas, for global markets, it carries a suggested retail price of $179.99.
However, it can be purchased at a lower price depending on deals and regions. It is currently up for pre-order on JD in China and AliExpress for international markets.
