Poco is gearing up to launch the affordable Poco C50 in India. The company confirmed that the handset will debut in the last week of November. The Chinese OEM is also reported to be working on the successor of the Poco F4 and X4. That’s not it; today, an unknown Poco smartphone with model number 23049PCD8G has been spotted on the EEC website, hinting at an imminent launch. Here are the details.

Tipster Mukul Sharma has spotted a mysterious Poco smartphone on the EEC certification site with model number 23049PCD8G. Apart from the model number, there are no other specifics known about the device yet. But it tells us the handset may launch soon.

The official name of the listed handset is not known yet. We are not sure if it will be a budget or mid-range smartphone. More details about the unknown Poco smartphone should emerge soon. We’ll keep you posted.

In related news, Poco will be launching the Poco C50 in India later this month. The device is rumored to be a rebranded Redmi A1+, which launched recently. It will likely have a 6.5-inch IPS LCD panel with a waterdrop notch and an HD+ resolution.

It could have a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and pack a 5MP front-facing camera. On the back, Poco C50 is expected to have an 8MP + 0.08MP dual camera setup. The handset could be powered by the Helio A22 chip paired with 2GB / 3GB of RAM. Both variants will likely offer 32GB of onboard storage.

Poco C50 could be fueled by a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging. On the software front, the upcoming device may run Android 12 (Go edition).
