Realme recently launched the Realme 10 Pro series of smartphones in China. The series consists of the Realme 10 Pro+ and the Realme 10 Pro. The global launch of these devices is scheduled for December 8. Ahead of the launch, a few details about the Realme 10 Pro+ global model have indicated cost-cutting in a few markets.

Realme 10 Pro Plus

Youtuber Lim Reviews has posted an unboxing video of the yet-to-be-released Malaysian model of the Realme 10 Pro+. The video reveals that the Realme 10 Pro+ features a Dimensity 920 chipset. Readers might remember that the Dimensity 920 was the chipset present in the Realme 9 Pro+, whereas the Realme 10 Pro+ made its China debut with the new Dimensity 1080 SoC.

In terms of performance, there isn’t exactly any difference between the two chipsets, however, the newer Dimensity 1080 does come with HyperEngine 3.0 gaming and an improved zero shutter lag ISP. It is worth noting that the Dimensity 920 version of the Realme 10 Pro+ only appears to be coming to some markets in South East Asia, as the company has already confirmed the Dimensity 1080 chipset for the Indian market.
