In late October, ZTE launched a mid-range smartphone called ZTE Yuanhang 40 Pro Plus in China. A month later, the company now reveals that it will be debuting a new color variant of this handset tomorrow.

The new version of Yuanhang 40 Pro Plus will be announced alongside the ZTE Axon 40 Ultra Aerospace Edition.

ZTE will be holding a press conference in China on November 29. The company has been teasing to debut the Axon 40 Ultra Aerospace Edition at this event.

But today, a day ahead of the conference, the company disclosed that it will also announce a new variant of Yuanhang 40 Pro Plus. The new hue option is officially called Starry Sky.

According to the official teaser poster, the Starry Sky color option will be a lighter version of Nubia Z40S Pro’s Starry Night Edition.

Apart from color, we don’t think the phone will differ in any other department. The brand is also not suggesting anything of the sort.

Therefore, we expect ZTE Yuanhang 40 Pro Plus Starry Sky Edition to arrive with the same set of features as the original model. Hence, it should feature a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset. 64MP main camera, 16MP selfie camera, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, 4,510mAh battery, and 66W fast charging support.

The device will be likely priced below ¥2,500. For context, the regular model costs ¥2,198 for 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
