Amazon had launched the Kindle 2022 in the global markets in September this year. Now the e-commerce giant has brought the device to India. It arrives as the successor to the 2019 version of Kindle. The latest offering packs a few but significant upgrades over its predecessor. Read on to know what the device offers out of the box. 

The Amazon Kindle 2022 is said to be the lightest and the most compact Kindle model. It is designed with an eco-friendly approach and even the packaging is recyclable. The device features a 6-inch glare-free display with 300ppi high brightness for a better reading experience. There is a four-LED setup in the front for adjusting the amount of light required. The display also supports dark mode. 

The Amazon Kindle 2022’s storage gets a significant bump to 16GB from 8GB on the 2019 version. It comes with support for USB-C charging and the e-reader is claimed to offer 6 weeks of battery life on a single charge. The device is compatible with a separately sold cover that automatically puts it to sleep when closed and wakes up when the cover is opened. The Kindle 2022 supports WiFi connectivity. Users get access to over 2 million titles with Kindle Unlimited.

The Amazon Kindle 2022 is offered in Black and Denim colours. It costs Rs 9,999 but can be purchased for Rs 8,999 for a limited period from Amazon. The Amazon Kindle Fabric cover is priced at Rs 1,799 and comes in Black, Dark Emerald, Denim, and Rose Gold colour options.
