Today at a launch event, Xiaomi unveiled multiple devices including the Xiaomi 13 series smartphones. The brand also announced the Xiaomi Buds 4. The TWS earphones are a toned-down version of the Buds 4 Pro that debuted in China in August this year. They arrive as the successor to last year’s Xiaomi Buds 3. Xiaomi Buds 4

The Xiaomi Buds 4 feature an AirPods-like semi-in-ear design. They do not have silicone ear tips and the device is IPX54-rated water-resistant. There are microphone cutouts on each earbud. Users can control various functions by tapping on the stem of the earbud. 

In terms of audio, the Xiaomi Buds 4 is equipped with a graphene-dual magnetic dynamic driver. It features intelligent active noise cancellation, 360-degree spatial audio, and transparency mode. The audio device also packs Hi-Res audio wireless certification and LHDC 5.0 for CD-level sound quality. There are three built-in microphones along with noise reduction for clear quality on calls. The device is also capable of eliminating wind noise 

The Xiaomi Buds 4 come in a pebble-shaped storage and charging case with a dual-tone design where the upper part has a glossy finish and the lower half has a plastic feel. The TWS earphones are powered by a 480mAh battery with each earbud backed by a 30mAh cell. It offers 6 hours of playback and 30 hours of total battery life. The audio device can be connected to two devices simultaneously. 

The Xiaomi Buds 4 carries a price tag of RMB 699 (~$100). It is offered in Moon Shadow, Salt Lake White, and Field Green colours. The TWS earphones are on sale in China and can be purchased starting today.
