Yesterday Vivo S16 was spotted in leaked renders. Today, the standard Vivo S16 has appeared on the Geekbench database. It is listed with model number V2244A and the benchmarking platform reveals key specifications of the device. Rumours suggest that the Vivo S16 series will debut in China by the end of this month. The smartphones will arrive as the successor to the S15 series that was announced earlier this year.

As per the Geekbench database, the Vivo S16 is listed with a motherboard codenamed ‘kona’. It corresponds to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. The chipset comprises four cores at 1.80GHz, three cores at 2.42GHz, and a prime core at 3.19GHz. The device will pack 12GB RAM and we can expect more options at launch. The benchmark listing reveals that the smartphone will run on Android 13 OS out of the box. The Vivo S16 scores 1,016 and 3,138 points in Geekbench’s single and multi-core tests.

Apart from the aforementioned details, the rest of the specifications of the Vivo S16 remain a mystery. The smartphone appeared on 3C certification with the same model number last month. It revealed that the device will come with support for 80W charging. The upcoming offering is tipped to come in Black, Blue, and Purple colours. The Vivo S16 is speculated to come with a high-refresh-rate display and triple rear cameras as its predecessor. On the other hand, the Vivo S16 Pro is rumoured to be powered by a Dimensity 8200 SoC.

We expect more details about the Vivo S16 to surface online in the coming weeks.
