Nubia is getting ready to launch the Nubia Z50 smartphone in its domestic market in China. The majority of the key features of this device have already leaked. Now, the brand has shared the official images of the Nubia Z50, completely revealing the design.

The image reveals that the smartphone will come with a boxy design, however, it will feature curved sides. The display on the device will also be curved. The back will have three camera cutouts on a rectangular camera module. Two of these lenses will be quite large, while the smaller lens will feature the LED flash module outlining its diameter. The bezels on the device will be quite thin, giving it a premium look. The color options available will include Black, White, and Green.

In addition to the design reveal, the teaser also confirms that the device will come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, a custom 35m optical system, and a 5,000mAh battery. Previous information on the device mentions that it will feature 80W fast charging and it would support Starry Sky Photography, among other photo modes. The Nubia Z40S Pro, which is Z50’s immediate predecessor, debuted with a 6.67-inch OLED screen with Full HD+ resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, 480Hz touch sampling rate, and a maximum brightness of 1,000 nits. It houses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 CPU, LPDDR5 RAM, and UFS 3.1 internal storage.

The smartphone has three cameras: a 50-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, an 8-megapixel periscope telephoto sensor, and a custom-made 35mm 64-megapixel Sony IMX787 primary camera with an f/1.6 aperture and OIS capability. A 16-megapixel camera is available for selfies and video calls.

The gadget is powered by the Android 12 operating system with a custom skin called MyOS 12 applied by the manufacturer. A 5,000mAh battery with compatibility for 80W/120W rapid charging powers the device.
