Poco hasn’t launched any new smartphone for quite some time now. However, multiple Poco smartphones, including the Poco X5 and X5 Pro, have been spotted on various certification sites, hinting at an imminent launch. Today, another handset from Xiaomi’s sub-brand has appeared on the BIS India website but without a name or other details.

As spotted by tipster Mukul Sharma, the unknown Poco device has a model number 22127PC95I. The marketing name of this handset is still a mystery since this is its first appearance online. It could debut as a powerful mid-range smartphone. The BIS (Bureau of Indian standards) website does not reveal any details about the handset, except the model number. However, it hints the device will launch very soon in the Indian market.

In related news, the Poco X5 5G was recently spotted on multiple certification sites, including Malaysia’s SIRIM, India’s BIS authority, and US FCC. Reports suggest it could be a rebranded or modified version of the Redmi Note 12 5G, which was recently launched in China.

For photography, it is rumored to feature an 8-megapixel front camera and a 48-megapixel primary + 2-megapixel depth camera on the back. It may pack a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.

In addition, the Poco X5 Pro 5G has also been making rounds on certification websites recently. It is reported to have a 5,000mAh battery with 67W charging. It will run on MIUI 14 out of the box and have support for the n5, n7, n38, n41, n77, and n78 5G bands.
