Recent reports have claimed that Honor will hold a launch event later this month in China. Today, the company released an official confirmation that it will unveil the Honor 80 GT at 7:30 pm (local time) on Dec. 26 in China.

Apart from the Honor 80 GT, the company is rumored to launch at least two other products, such as an Honor 80 Pro variant featuring a flat display and the Honor Pad V8 Pro tablet. The above teaser gives a glimpse of the Honor 80 GT’s design. The poster shown below teases two devices, the one on the left seems to be the Honor 80 GT, while the one on the right appears to be the Honor Pad V8 Pro. It appears that the latter will support the Magic Pen.
Rumors surrounding the Honor 80 GT say it will be powered by the low-frequency version of the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 and 16 GB of RAM. It is likely to feature an OLED panel that offers a Full HD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The poster confirms that it has a triple camera unit, which is headlined by a 54-megapixel primary camera. It seems that the device is equipped with the Sony IMX800 as the main snapper. It may carry support for 66W fast charging.

The Honor 80 Pro’s flat screen variant is expected to feature the same SD8+G1 chip. Its OLED panel is likely to support a 1.5K resolution. There is a possibility that its specs could be identical to the Honor 80 Pro, which debuted in November.
The Honor Pad V8 Pro is expected to arrive as the world’s first IMAX Enhanced tablet. It will offer features like a 12.1-inch display, a Dimensity 8100 chipset, 33W fast charging, and MagicOS 7.0. It is likely to arrive in blue and orange shades.
