OnePlus confirmed today that it will unveil the OnePlus 11 on Jan.4 in China. The Chinese manufacturer is also working on the OnePlus Ace 2, which is likely to get rebranded as the OnePlus 11R in the global market. Today, tipster Digital Chat Station shared the key specifications of the Ace 2.

According to the source, the OnePlus Ace 2 will have a curved-edge display with a punch-hole in the centre. It appears to sport an OLED panel that offers a 1.5K resolution.

Under the hood, the OnePlus Ace 2 features the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset and a 5,000mAh battery, which will support 100W fast charging. For photography, it will have a 50-megapixel primary camera.

The leak has no information on the OnePlus Ace 2’s launch timeframe. While the OnePlus 11 is set to launch on Jan. 4, the Ace 2 may arrive in the market at a later date. The device is likely to be rebranded as the OnePlus 11R in the global market.

Other reports say that the device will have a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz. For selfies, it will have a 16-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel (Sony IMX890) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 2-megapixel triple camera unit. The Ace 2 is likely to offer up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of storage. It may draw power from a 5,000mAh battery. It is likely to come preloaded with Android 13 OS and ColorOS 13 in the Chinese market. For security, the Ace 2 will feature an under-display fingerprint scanner.

On the Chinese market, the OnePlus Ace 2 is expected to compete with the Realme GT Neo 4, iQOO Neo 7 Racing Edition, and Redmi K60 Pro.
