Realme has announced that it will unveil 240W fast charging technology at an event on January 5th. The company regularly competes with other firms to be the first to bring new technologies to smartphones and is continually expanding its smartphone line. The announcement was made in a recent poster on Realme’s official Weibo account.

It is currently unknown which phone will be the first to use the 240W fast charging technology, we have a good guess. According to the latest leaks, Realme GT Neo5 will be the first model to use this technology. The smartphone is expected to come in two versions. One with 150W fast charging and a 5000mAh battery, and the other with 240W fast charging and a 4600 mAh battery.

In terms of its specs, the Realme GT Neo5 is expected to have a 6.7 inch 1.5K display with a resolution of 2772 X 1240p, a 144Hz refresh rate, 2160 Hz PWM dimming, and a 3.2 GHz first-generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ processor. It is also expected to have a 50 Megapixel IMX890 main camera with 0.6-20x zoom and OIS, as well as an under-screen fingerprint scanner and a plastic body with RGB lighting effects.

The Realme GT Neo5 is expected to be a significant step forward in terms of fast charging technology, with its 240W capabilities offering a comprehensive breakthrough in speed, safety, and longevity.
