The China Communications Standardization Association and the Telecommunications Terminal Industry Association jointly held a mobile terminal universal fast charging standards results conference in Beijing in October of this year and released the first batch of 11 fast charging certifications, involving 4 terminals and 5 adapters from six companies. And two chip products, which cover mobile phones, fast chips, and charging items from manufacturers such as Xiaomi, OPPO, and Huawei.
According to Weibo tipster @Digital Chat Station, the UFCS Agreement’s universal highest power is 40W, which aims to promote faster charging compatibility between different manufacturers. It surely cannot be compared to 100-watt chargers, however, the second stage will raise to 65W, increasing further availability. Now, according to an official statement, the OPPO Reno9 All Things Red becomes the first smartphone to support the country’s new Universal charging standard.
More devices will be further added to the compatibility list in the future. All the compatible devices will have a universal charging technology shared between them. Let’s see how many smartphones will be added later in the future.
