Samsung is expected to unveil the next generation of Galaxy A series smartphones in the coming weeks. One of them is going to be Galaxy A34.
We have been hearing about this device along with other upcoming A series phones for quite a while now. Today, this handset has appeared on a benchmarking platform revealing its certain specs.
The forthcoming Galaxy A34 has been spotted on Geekbench. To be precise, it is the South Korean variant of the smartphone with model number SM-A346N.
As per the listing, this version of the device will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset paired with 6GB RAM. There could be other memory variants as well. On the software front, it will boot Android 13.
The phone is capable of scoring about 778 points and 2332 points in single-core and multi-core tests, respectively. In other words, it will have adequate performance for a mid-range smartphone.
According to previous leaks, the Samsung Galaxy A34 will arrive with a new design. It will share its design with Galaxy A54 and other yet-to-release Galaxy A series handsets.
The device will sport a vertically-aligned triple rear camera system comprising a main sensor, an ultra-wide unit, and a macro snapper. It will lack the fourth unnecessary depth sensor.
The phone is said to sport a 6.5-inch display featuring a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Last but not least, it is tipped to measure 161.3 x 77.7 x 8.2mm in dimensions.
